Violine von Pietro Giacomo Rogeri
The son of Giovanni Battista Rogeri, Pietro Giacomo Rogeri began to assist his father around 1690, though his earliest known instruments date from 1705.
Very similar work to that of his father, but some later work shows some extremity and stylistic weakness. Corners longer and even slightly hooked.
In general Rogeri elaborated on some of the particular details seen in his father's work, especially the robust scrolls and sculpted corners.
