Jedes Instrument, ob alt oder neu, muss kontinuierlich betreut werden. Vieles kann der Musiker selber tun, aber manches sollte er dem Geigenbauer überlassen, so zum Beispiel die regelmäßige Grundreinigung, dann vor allem die Kontrolle des Griffbretts, der Halslage, des Stegs und der Stimme.
Die Optimierung der Spieleigenschaften und des Klangs nehmen wir bei jedem Spieler und jedem Instrument gleichermaßen sehr ernst. Es ist immer wieder erstaunlich, welche Klangfülle man aus den meisten Instrumenten herausholen kann, wenn man sich eingehend damit befasst. Nicht zu unterschätzen ist die Rolle der Bogenbehaarung. Auch da bieten wir immer höchste Qualität. Ein gut bezogener Bogen sollte in wenigen Minuten perfekt eingespielt sein. Das ist unser Versprechen.

Bow Rehair
The properties of the bow, as we know, contribute significantly to the overall sound result. Often, however, the role of the bow hair is underestimated.
Not only the quality of the hair used is important - our suppliers strive to achieve the highest standard - but also and above all the treatment of the hair, from selection to setting, distribution, etc., to single-colouration, is of utmost importance.
We have perfected the delicate process of bow rehairing, taking into account the finest details of hair quantity, length and tension for outstanding results.
It is very important to us that a new rehair takes effect immediately and a break-in period is practically not necessary.
